OutIndex Announces Professional Service Support for Novell® GroupWise®
KENNINGTON, LONDON and NEW YORK, NY (13 AUG 2008) – OutIndex (www.OutIndex.com), the leading electronic discovery software company in Europe, today announced a new professional services offering supporting Novell GroupWise extraction and processing for GroupWise versions 5.x and above. OutIndex provides this service at the company’s London, UK and New York City, US offices.
Production output of the GroupWise processed mail is available HTML or Microsoft Outlook PST format, including messages, calendar items, tasks and address books. OutIndex is able to limit the amount of responsive data with de-duplication technology as well as date filtering and a highly accurate keyword search methodology.
“When US law firms need to collect and process email in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, they are often surprised that Novell GroupWise is still actively used," said Nii Larnyoh, president and CEO of OutIndex. "OutIndex therefore created our service based on our experience of encountering both live GroupWise servers and backup tapes.”
OutIndex supports GroupWise processing in an extensive number of international languages. While many service providers can only support the western languages, OutIndex also supports pictorial languages like Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai, commonly referred to as CJK. These languages typically do not use punctuation or spaces to delineate words and therefore require specialized indexers to determine word and phrase breaks.
